Everyone would like to have blessings and gifts whether there is an occasion or none. However, perhaps maybe not everyone is currently receptive to this thought of giving because not every one of us is willing to give what we possess to others who are in need.

While that’s true, the simple reality from God still remains — it is much far better to give than to receive.

And then don’t forget the word of our Lord Jesus:

‘It is more blessed to give than to receive.’ – Acts 20:35

Irrespective of our feelings, so it truly is way better and a lot much far more blessed to give than to obtain.

That being said, below are a few explanations for why Christians should practice the act of giving than receiving:

1. Generous people will be more blessed.Learn Why Christians Should Practice the Act of Giving Than Receiving

According to Proverbs 11:25,

“The generous soul will be made rich, and he who waters will also be watered himself.”

That means if you will become generous to other people, God will give more blessings to you because God wants to see His children doing good deeds to other people rather than doing selfish acts that is totally unacceptable to the Kingdom of God.

2. Sharing broaden God’s happiness.

God loves those who know how to give. It succeeds Him to watch his people thankfully giving to those who are in need and who are incapable of providing for themselves.

According to Paul, God over repeatedly commends and compliments people that sacrificed their money for the sake of helping others.

And as a Christian, you will feel more joyful if God is appreciating your goodness because a cheerful giver means that there is a cheerful God watching over you.

3. If you give, you are exhibiting God’s heart.

God may be the giver of every nice and perfect present. We are known to reproduce His giving character, to function as the mini version of His heart.

The more expensive our hearts (along with also the broader our palms), the bigger the photograph we paint of God’s personality.

We could possibly become as much happier and contented right after we observe that God is being glorified in our act of giving. So practice the act of giving than receiving because God has a better gift and blessing for you.
