According to the bible passage from Proverbs 3, “Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.”

Yes, this is all true. But aside from considering these wise thoughts and honesty, we, as a Christian, should still make an effort to build our trust and connection with God.

So to help you in growing your trust in the Lord, here’s what you need to do:

1. Surrender yourself to God.Here's How You Can Work Your Trust in the Lord

Surrendering to God begins with all our lips along with our thoughts. We want more than the usual devotion to according to Him; we will need to shout out to show that dependence.

Once we pray, we admit his ways are far higher than ours. We reveal that we’re departing our issues and burdens and fantasies from His hands. In reality, that the Bible asserts that if we reach out in prayer to Him, he hears us.

2. Trust and follow His plans and not your own plans.

Many folks have faced collapses, which may have educated us that individuals could simply rely on ourselves.

But some of the times trusting Him completely may be rough. Thus, daily we have to purposely put our own expectations and plans — and Give to His aims.

3. Put God at the center of your life.

We all have a “me-centric” kind of attitude wherein we always put ourselves as our first priority in all aspects.

If something good happens, you would like to congratulate yourself on a reward. If something awful happens, you would like to match yourself or find someone at fault.

And as soon as it concerns money, the struggle is much tougher. However, Solomon, that had rather a few riches himself, understood his money did not belong to him:

“Honor the LORD with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.” (Proverbs 3:9–10)

When we are able to trust God using the 1st of our abundance, we’re truly showing just how far we rely on Him. Handing through the very first portion of our pay takes a large quantity of faith, after all. But doing this only means that you are embracing the God-centric kind of attitude.

4. Use God’s love as your motivation.

As soon as we experience difficulties in our life, we are able to sometimes question if God actually loves us. Why is it that terrible things come about? Where’s God when I need Him? Solomon reminds us God never Requires a fracture or leaves us to fend for ourselves:

“because the LORD disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in.” (Proverbs 3:12)

Much in the middle of chaos, God sticks and uses those struggles to model us. As soon as we know our view entirely, no more do we view our reverses as failures; we all view them as wonderful moments from God.

He cares for people each day. He gives us exactly what we all will need to flourish. He awakens blessing after blessing.

Overall, after every one of these everyday steps isn’t simple. This is exactly the reason Jesus said we now need to deny ourselves and follow Him as, at that end of your afternoon, it’s just God who is able to help us in living this life.
